It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Yep, that’s right. It’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday. To help you make the most of the weekend, we’ve rounded up ten of the best travel deals on offer, from USA city breaks, to ski holidays, to cruises. Happy bargain hunting!
1. Summer in Sicily
Leading Italian specialist Citalia is giving holidaymakers the chance to save £50 on holidays of seven nights or more if they’re booked by midnight on Monday 30 November. A week in Sicily next July costs £759pp and includes easyJet flights from Gatwick, private resort transfers, and seven nights’ B&B accommodation at the four-star Hotel Excelsior Palace in Taormina.
2. Boston break
If all this talk of bargains has made you long for the January sales, Hayes and Jarvis has a three-night city break to Boston for £499pp, including United Airlines flights from Heathrow departing on 23 January, plus room-only accommodation at the five-star Omni Parker House. In Massachusetts, there’s no sales tax on clothing costing less than $175, which means you can shop till you drop.
3. Hit the slopes
This weekend is a great time to find a cheap ski deal. Club Med has a week in Avoriaz for £869pp. The all-inclusive holiday includes flights from Gatwick departing on 10 April. Purpose-built Avoriaz is a high resort, so it's a good choice for skiers who want to go late in the season.
4. Easter cruise
If cruising is more your bag, P&O Cruises is offering up to 30 per cent off selected holidays departing between March and May 2016. Enjoy an Easter break on the Med with a 10-night fly-Med cruise for £599pp. The cruise, on board Oceana, departs from Southampton on 27 March and calls at Lisbon, Gibraltar, Barcelona, Marseille, Cannes, and Florence before flying out of Genoa.
5. Go Greek
Bespoke holiday provider Sovereign is taking £100 off flight-inclusive holidays which are seven nights or longer, if booked between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. A week in Crete in late April costs £615pp, including return Aegean Airlines flights from Gatwick departing on 26 April, plus seven nights’ half-board accommodation at the five-star Daios Cove Luxury Resort & Villas. Private resort transfers and a welcome gift are also included in the price.
6. LA for less
This one’s a Cyber Monday only deal. Air New Zealand is selling 100 return flights from Heathrow to Los Angeles for £199. The flights are available on selected dates in February, including Valentine’s Day. The deal goes live at 10am on Monday.
7. London calling
To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, The Courthouse Hotel in Carnaby Street is offering rooms for just £10 this Christmas. The hotel, which houses two restaurants, a spa, and a private cinema, will be offering one night stays for £10 between 20-26 December. Bookings must be made on Black Friday.
8. Thrill ride
Don't fancy booking a holiday? Lastminute.com has 50 per cent off experiences such as a Segway Rally Thrill for Two for £27. The 60-minute experience can be taken at one of 15 different locations throughout the UK, and includes a mix of instructor-led riding and free time.
9. Feeling adventurous?
Intrepid travellers can save £100 on any G Adventures trip valued at more than £1,000 when booking between 9pm on 26 November and 5am on 1 December, using the promo code 16GA100ADV12. The offer is valid on trips departing before 30 June 2016.
10. Ferry good
DFDS has a selection of one-day-only deals on its UK ferry routes. A two berth cabin from Newcastle to Amsterdam costs £39 and includes a free drink on board. There are no baggage restrictions and the price is inclusive of vehicle transport. The offer is available to book from 12:05am on 27 November.
